Usually about this time of year we might say that spring has finally arrived…but this year spring has been here for a while. And we’re loving it! Yes, it’s actually rather green here and it’s not even Memorial Day yet! (For northern Minnesota that’s quite impressive.) So here’s a glance at a few signs of spring around here.
fresh cut grass and lots of dandelions
happy to do the first cut of the year…
tired out already?
and snow with the blossoms. yes, this is minnesota, after all.
tilling the garden
cleaning up the church Bible camp
Mom and Mrs. Pollock cleaning the camp kitchen
rain storms and breathtaking skies…perfect for a mommy-daddy picture
just because apple blossoms are so pretty
Let us know; let us press on to know the LORD; His going out is sure as the dawn; He will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth. Hosea 6:3 (ESV)
Spring is finally here! And so are some adorable kittens. Our mama cat had four of little ones a few weeks ago. It’s been a long time since we’ve had kittens around here so we are a little excited.
almost a week old (love the chubby cheeks!)
And just today, at 19 days old…
smiling, or yawning?
Last week Dad and the boys had the opportunity to go ice fishing with a friend. Since our family has very little experience in ice fishing, Dad’s friend was there entirely to serve them with his knowledge and abilities. What a blessing!
Mr. W. was a great help
too excited to sit while fishing?
Daniel’s fishing hole
lots of fish were biting
fishin’ and grinnin’
Everyone had a great time fishing and fellowshipping, and the boys are definitely looking forward to ice fishing next winter already!
