Hello from…the U.S.A.!
The Lord allowed our family a very exciting opportunity this past weekend in Canada. I started to write a blog post about it while we were up there but we didn’t have internet access, so the following is the post I started there and finished here. There will be more to come as well!

Greetings from Garden Hill, Manitoba! We are so excited to be here. Dad was here quite a few years ago by himself, and now the Lord has opened the door for our whole family to come up here to minister in song at some tent meetings.
We spent Wednesday night at the NYP headquarters at Beaver Lake near Dryden, Ontario. We are so blessed by their continual hospitality to us when we pass through the area. Yesterday (Thursday) they flew us up to Island Lake.
From the Island Lake airport we had to somehow get down to the lake with all our belongings to take a boat in to Garden Hill. So we piled our luggage and instruments onto a cart from the airport and started walking. (We packed very light–we could actually see out the back window of our van!)
After a little bit, a lady with a pickup truck came for us and helped get our things down to the dock.
We finally arrived in Garden Hill! Mr. Arnold Flett met us at the dock to take us to the place we would be staying.
We spent the day at the Flett’s house. Nations One For Christ, a radio ministry that airs The Storyteller, was building a radio tower nearby. It was neat to watch the progress, and Lord-willing it will be finished today. (Note: the tower was completed over the weekend and dedicated to God.)
Meanwhile, a few of us helped the ladies make pies.
Later, Dad and the boys went over to the meeting tent to check it out. Jonathan became a “kid magnet,” as Dad described him.
The meetings started the next evening. We made lots of little friends before hand!
The theme of the conference was Revelation 22:17 “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”
And Jesus saved people this weekend!
But I’m getting ahead…stay tuned for more on our trip! Click here for the rest of the story!
Love following your family’s adventures.
Deborah you did a good job putting your trip together. Waiting for the rest of it. Thanks
