We are thankful that God has allowed us to continue being involved in prison ministry several times a year. Recently we were able to be a part of two outreaches, one in December and one in January, in two different southern states. Thank you to all who prayed for us!
So many volunteers come together to bring God’s love and hope into the prisons during these outreaches. It’s pretty neat to see.

A few highlights/memorable moments include…
- An inmate who was silently prayed for was the one who later responded to the invitation during that service
- Seeing a volunteer and inmate kneeling together
- States all around us were suffering from severe weather and power outages…but “somehow” Alabama was ok, relatively speaking…I wonder how many people were puzzled by this, while the outreach group was rejoicing in answered prayer!
And a fun fact…it was SO COLD one day that even us northerners were glad to be wearing our winter coats. (But since so much of the country was experiencing extreme cold we couldn’t really be blamed for bringing it with us, could we?)
It’s always encouraging to hear reports from across these outreaches of how God is working.
